I love Supernatural. I do. But this? This is not good.

For me personally, the series peaked in Season Five. It’s my favorite season. It is also my opinion, and I get that.
But let us not forget:

Creator Eric Kripke originally planned for the show to last only five seasons, but due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, the CW network renewed the series for a sixth season.

By this point, all of the characters have died and come back and died again and come back as not-them and then got killed again and COME ON. I love the cast and the characters they portray, but this has gone on longer than it should have.

Give me a well-written story arc and a heartbreaking series finale.

Give me the boys riding off into the sunset while Carry On My Wayward Son plays. 

But don’t make my babies suffer through another twisted season of drawn-out storylines and new irrelevant characters.


It’s time to lay them to rest, and for once in their lives, let them stay dead.
